Middlesbrough manager Kim Hellberg expressed his satisfaction with the team’s performance in the second half, as they secured three points against Stoke, following last week’s victory over West Brom.

Alan Browne played a pivotal role, scoring one goal and assisting Tommy Conway for the winner, propelling Boro back into the Championship’s top two.

Hellberg commented to BBC Tees, “The first 25 minutes were disappointing; we were lacking bravery in our play. However, the second half showcased a completely different mentality, and we were able to turn the game around.”

“I sensed we weren’t as sharp as we could be, but that’s part of the game. We made some adjustments at halftime and came back strong.”

“It’s essential for us to concentrate on our own performance. This phase of the season is challenging, yet we’ve managed to collect six points from two away games and scored five goals in the process.”
