Manu Koné, a standout player for Roma, has been diagnosed with a second-degree muscle strain, which is expected to sideline him for approximately a month.
The French midfielder will miss around four weeks of action following examinations conducted on Monday that confirmed the strain in his right thigh, according to multiple Italian sources, including Sky Sport Italia.

Koné had to be substituted during the 1-1 draw with Milan at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night.
This season, the midfielder has made 29 appearances for Roma, contributing two goals and one assist.

Koné joined Roma in the summer of 2024 from Borussia Monchengladbach in a deal worth €18 million.

Following the recent draw against Milan, Roma currently occupies 3rd place in the Serie A standings, trailing table leaders Inter by nine points.
The Giallorossi are tied on 43 points with Napoli, while Juventus closely follows in fifth place, just one point behind.
