Lazio midfielder Matias Vecino is set to join Celta Vigo, which may hinder Reda Belahyane’s transfer to Verona. Meanwhile, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has caught the attention of Bournemouth.
According to several reports, including those from Sportitalia and transfer analyst Matteo Moretto, the transfer deal for Vecino is finalized, and he will undergo a medical examination in Spain tomorrow morning.

The 34-year-old Vecino’s current contract runs until June 30, with an option for extension at the end of the season.
He joined Lazio as a free agent from Inter in the summer of 2022 but has only made 14 competitive appearances this season, providing two assists.
If Vecino completes his move to Celta Vigo, Lazio may reconsider releasing Belahyane for his agreed-upon transfer to Hellas Verona.

With Vecino potentially leaving, Coach Maurizio Sarri might find himself short on midfield options if both Vecino and Belahyane depart simultaneously.
In another development, LaLazioSiamoNoi also reports that Lazio rejected a bid from Bournemouth for Dele-Bashiru, which was a loan offer with an option to buy set at €18 million.
The two clubs had previously collaborated, as goalkeeper Christos Mandas has moved to Bournemouth.
