Fluminense submits significant bid for LAFC star Denis Bouanga
The MLS might be on the brink of losing one of its brightest stars as Brazilian club Fluminense has made a substantial offer for LAFC standout Denis Bouanga.
The 31-year-old forward has emerged as a key player in MLS over the past three seasons, and Fluminense’s bid of approximately $15 million could prove irresistible for the Southern California team.
Earlier this month, Bouanga attracted interest from Inter Miami, who proposed $13 million for the Gabonese player, highlighting the increasing demand for the forward following his impressive 2025 season.
As a finalist for the MLS Most Valuable Player award in 2025 and a consistent presence in the Best XI over the last three years, Bouanga was building a formidable partnership with South Korean superstar Son Heung-min towards the end of last season.
Throughout his 101 games with LAFC, Bouanga has netted 65 goals and provided 20 assists, firmly establishing himself as a crucial figure in the club’s success at BMO Stadium.
