In contrast, club president Olivier Létang has expressed a more optimistic outlook. In an interview with Le Figaro on January 16, he stated, “The plan is for Bruno to stay with us. I hope he’ll be our coach in August, but I’m not the only one who decides.”
Reports suggest there have been professional disagreements between Génésio and Létang, especially during transfer windows. Génésio appears to favor acquiring experienced players, while Létang looks towards future potential.
Lille is currently struggling on the field, facing a challenging injury crisis.
