Game OVER for Trent…

Game OVER for Trent…

Real Madrid Set to Replace Trent Alexander-Arnold

Trent Alexander-Arnold began the domestic season as the starting right-back under new coach Xabi Alonso, but he quickly lost his spot to the returning Dani Carvajal.

Injury then hit hard, as Trent suffered a hamstring injury during a Champions League match against Marseille, sidelining him for two months.

In December, another injury occurred during a league match against Athletic Club, leaving him off the pitch for an extended period.

By January, rumors surfaced that Trent was feeling disheartened following his move to Madrid, expressing frustrations over unfulfilled promises and the departure of Alonso.

– This has severely impacted his chances for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

Meanwhile, Manchester City and Newcastle are reportedly eyeing a £35 million deal for the full-back.

Real Madrid Targets Wesley and Alex Jimenez

Reports suggest that Real Madrid is moving on from Trent, less than a year after his much-anticipated arrival from the Premier League champions.

According to El Nacional, Los Blancos find themselves “compelled” to find a new right-back following Trent’s underwhelming performances and Carvajal’s looming contract expiration.

“Real Madrid must bring in a new right-back,” the report highlights.

“Trent Alexander-Arnold has failed to impress with his performances and has faced numerous injuries, causing him to miss more than half of the matches this season.”

“In the meantime, Dani Carvajal, the team captain, is set to be out of contract on June 30th, with no renewal anticipated.”

Two names that have emerged as potential replacements for Alexander-Arnold should be recognizable to Liverpool fans.

“Florentino Pérez needs to recruit a new specialist, and both Wesley from AS Roma and Álex Jiménez from AFC Bournemouth are strong candidates,” the report states.

Wesley was sought by Liverpool while still playing at Flamengo before his transition to Serie A, and Jiménez shone in a recent Premier League match against Liverpool when Bournemouth claimed victory.

It appears that Trent’s time at Madrid may be nearing its end, with his anticipated move proving short-lived.
