Inter Milan is reportedly set to revamp its midfield significantly at the conclusion of the current season.
As per FCInterNews, multiple veteran midfielders may depart from San Siro during the summer transfer window.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan faces an uncertain future with the club.
His current contract expires in June, and the Nerazzurri have yet to determine whether to extend his stay.
Should he leave, the club will need to secure a suitable replacement, with Weston McKennie emerging as a possible target.

In addition to Mkhitaryan, the club may reluctantly part ways with star midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu.
He has been heavily linked with a move to Galatasaray and has yet to sign a new deal, with his contract running through 2027.
If he departs, the 32-year-old would leave a considerable void in the midfield.
Furthermore, Inter had previously targeted Roma’s Manu Kone and Atalanta’s Ederson as potential successors to Calhanoglu last summer.
Now, however, they are considering a move for Sassuolo’s emerging talent, Ismael Kone, who has been impressive this season.
