Liverpool Pursues Allan Amid Competition
According to a report from IG in Brazil, there is currently no agreement in place between Liverpool and Palmeiras regarding Allan, and it’s important to note that the midfielder won’t come at a bargain price.
The outlet suggests that a transfer fee of approximately €35m is expected, but given the circumstances, Allan is likely to command a higher price. Notably, Palmeiras turned down a €35m bid from Napoli in January, which could have risen to €40m with bonuses.

It seems reasonable to conclude that Liverpool would need to offer at least €40m in guaranteed funds to successfully secure this deal.
While reports on this front are encouraging, it could also mark a significant moment in Liverpool’s history. The club hasn’t signed a Brazilian wonderkid with substantial acclaim since Lucas Leiva in 2007.
Lucas was honored as the best player in Brazil the season prior and followed a lineage of talent that included Kaka, Alex, Robinho, and Carlos Tevez within the four years before him. Although Allan may not carry the same illustrious background, he is undoubtedly a top-tier prospect.
This move could potentially end Liverpool’s nearly two-decade-long wait for another Brazilian talent of immense promise.
