In the latest episode of BBC Radio 5 Live’s Monday Night Club, the panel engaged in a discussion about the ongoing Premier League title race.

Some might say that the narrative has shifted recently, potentially favoring Manchester City in their quest for the title; however, former Premier League striker Chris Sutton remains skeptical.

“Pep Guardiola is doing his best to convey confidence and belief heading into the final stretch, but I’m not convinced it holds up,” Sutton expressed.

“What gives me faith in Arsenal is their bench against Tottenham—they have no weak links. It’s an incredible lineup.”

Rory Smith from The Observer chimed in, stating: “[Everyone has been saying] Arsenal are faltering, choking, while Manchester City is gaining momentum—but they’ve had identical records this year. Arsenal was two points ahead at Christmas and remains two points clear now, assuming City wins their game in hand.”
