Zhegrova came on as a substitute in the second half of Juventus’ narrow 3-2 victory over Galatasaray, a result that unfortunately did not clinch them a spot in the Champions League Round of 16.

Despite Juventus being reduced to ten men after Lloyd Kelly’s red card early in the second half, Luciano Spalletti’s side managed to hold a 3-0 lead towards the end of the match.

However, during extra time, Zhegrova squandered a significant chance to extend the lead for the Bianconeri, while Victor Osimhen found the net for Galatasaray shortly thereafter.
After the match, Zhegrova took to social media to thank the Juventus fans for their incredible support, subtly omitting mention of his missed goal.

“Tonight was tough. But this loss is part of my journey! I am proud of the team and the mentality we displayed,” Zhegrova shared on Instagram.
“Thanks to all the supporters in the stadium – you were remarkable.”
