Kylian Mbappé to miss…

Kylian Mbappé (27) is set to miss the first leg of the Champions League round of 16 matchup between Real Madrid and Manchester City, as reported by Cadena Ser.

The French forward is dealing with a knee injury and is expected to be out for approximately three weeks. He has already missed the second leg of the playoff against SL Benfica (which Madrid won 2-1) and is unlikely to feature in the match against Manchester City. Additionally, this injury will keep him from participating in upcoming La Liga games against Getafe, Celta Vigo, and Elche.

Assuming a positive recovery, Real Madrid’s number 10 might return for the second leg against Manchester City.

Since joining the club a year and a half ago, Mbappé has become a crucial player for Real Madrid, scoring 38 goals and registering six assists in 33 matches across all competitions this season.
