Sassuolo CEO Hands Inter…

Sassuolo’s CEO Giovanni Carnevali has increased Inter Milan’s chances of securing Tarik Muharemovic’s signature at the end of the season.

In a recent interview, Carnevali revealed that several key players may leave the Emilia-Romagna club, as detailed by FCInter1908.

With the top Serie A team planning a defensive reshuffle in the upcoming transfer window, it seems changes are on the horizon.

Francesco Acerbi, Matteo Darmian, and Stefan de Vrij are likely to exit, prompting Beppe Marotta to seek new defensive talents.

Having made an impressive debut in Serie A, Muharemovic has come to the attention of Inter’s president.

However, the Milan giants will face competition from Juventus in their pursuit of the 22-year-old.

In addition to Muharemovic, Inter is also closely monitoring another standout player from Sassuolo.

Canadian midfielder Ismael Kone has piqued Marotta’s interest as the Nerazzurri aim to bolster their midfield this summer.

“As the season progresses, our club is already strategizing for the transfer market,” Carnevali noted. “We will be letting go of some players, and we have a preliminary idea of who might depart.

“However, this also hinges on our asking price and the offers from interested clubs.

“We’re actively assessing and searching for players to fill potential gaps in our squad.

“Every club engages in a bit of pre-planning, especially when their performances allow for it.”

He also shared Sassuolo’s valuation of Kone. “For Kone, €30 million could be enough, but it ultimately depends on the interest of the buyers,” Carnevali commented.

The 23-year-old could be a valuable addition for Inter should they fail to land Roma star Manu Kone.
