Boro Are Superior to Us:…

After QPR’s 4-0 loss at home to promotion-contending Middlesbrough on Sunday, head coach Julien Stephan adopted a philosophical stance regarding the defeat.

The Hoops have now faced three consecutive losses, conceding a total of 11 goals while failing to score, despite making encouraging starts to both halves.

“When you go up against a top team, you have to accept the outcome,” Stephan remarked. “They were clearly better than us, and that’s just the reality. They earned their victory.”

“They exhibited greater quality both individually and as a team, with and without the ball. I can only acknowledge that we lost to a superior opponent.”

“We won’t encounter an opponent of this caliber every time, but we must enhance our quality when in possession.”

“In our last three matches, we haven’t scored. In football, if you don’t score and are primarily focused on defense, it’s tough to achieve a favorable outcome.”

“Naturally, we are unhappy. Experiencing three consecutive defeats while conceding so many goals is challenging.”

“However, I want to stand by my players. I know them well and understand that they are putting in their best effort. We need to remain united.”

The R’s will aim to turn things around as they prepare to face Birmingham City on Wednesday at 19:45 GMT.
