Assistant manager Dale Tonge has departed from Rotherham United.
The 40-year-old, who played 163 league matches for the club from 2007 to 2013, joined the Millers’ coaching staff under former manager Matt Hamshaw last June.
Following Hamshaw’s dismissal last Wednesday, with the team sitting in the League One relegation zone, new manager Lee Clark has opted to bring in his own team.
“I want to express my gratitude to Dale for helping me acclimate to the club. He is a fantastic individual and an excellent coach,” Clark stated on the club’s website.
