Should Kompany, who has been a key figure at Manchester City, take over Guardiola’s position at the Etihad, Slot could then become a candidate to fill Kompany’s role at Bayern Munich.
“I’ve heard that a Bundesliga club is already discreetly inquiring about Slot’s current situation,” Boualin stated.
“If Slot and Liverpool decide to part ways at the end of the season, this Bundesliga club could indeed be a viable option.
