Real Madrid aim to wait…

Real Madrid is benefiting from a strategy focused on selling young talents from their academy while maintaining oversight of their careers through sell-on and buyback clauses.

Nico Paz, who transferred to Como in 2024, has been thriving in Italy and is expected to return to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

In a similar vein, Victor Munoz, who signed with Osasuna last year, has performed impressively, sparking discussions about a potential move back to Valdebebas before next season.

Jacobo Ramon in 2027?

Jacobo Ramon is yet another player who departed Real Madrid under terms comparable to those of Nico Paz and Victor Munoz.

Having joined Como last year, the 21-year-old center-back has excelled on the pitch. According to El Mundo, Real Madrid regards his development in Italy highly.

Real Madrid sees potential in the Spanish defender and considers a return to the club likely, preferring to wait until the summer of 2027.

Ramon’s transfer to Como was for €2.5 million for 50% of his rights, with Real Madrid retaining buyback options for his first three seasons in Italy.

During his first season abroad, the La Fabrica graduate has become a key player for Cesc Fabregas’ team, participating in 30 matches across all competitions and even scoring twice.

Real Madrid is pleased with his progress under Fabregas and views his return as a viable option.

However, they intend to execute this move in 2027, coinciding with Antonio Rudiger’s anticipated departure, who is expected to extend his contract for one more year.
