Roma Lose Mancini for 2

Roma will likely be without Gianluca Mancini for two to three weeks following tests that revealed a significant injury sustained during the 5-2 loss to Inter Milan.

The defender started at San Siro on Easter Sunday, where he scored the equalizer before leaving the pitch at halftime due to discomfort in his right thigh.

Recent tests confirmed the presence of a lesion in Mancini’s right adductor muscle.

As reported by the Corriere dello Sport and Sky Sport Italia, Mancini is anticipated to miss two to three weeks of action.

This absence will exclude him from upcoming matches against Pisa on April 10, Atalanta on April 18, and possibly the match against Bologna on April 25.

This news adds to the challenges for the Giallorossi, who are already without players like Wesley, Manu Koné, Paulo Dybala, Artem Dovbyk, and Evan Ferguson.

Following the 5-2 loss to Inter, their hopes for a Champions League spot took a hit, although they received some encouragement today as Como, currently in fourth place, was held to a 0-0 draw by Udinese, keeping a potential pathway open.
