In recent weeks, conversations surrounding Alejandro Balde’s future at FC Barcelona have picked up as the summer transfer window approaches.
With Barcelona aiming to secure Joao Cancelo on a permanent deal, there is speculation that they may consider parting ways with Balde before the next season, especially since the 22-year-old defender is attracting interest from clubs in the Premier League.

Barcelona Not Eager to Sell Balde
Providing clarity on the matter, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Barcelona are not actively seeking to offload Balde this summer.
In fact, the Blaugrana are not in a hurry to push the La Masia product out the door and have not instructed his agent to seek alternative clubs for him at this time.
Barcelona remains optimistic about Balde’s potential and views him as a promising player with significant possibilities for growth.

As previously mentioned, Balde has caught the attention of leading Premier League clubs, with Manchester City and Manchester United registering interest in him.
However, at this moment, Barcelona are not actively pursuing a sale for Balde and have not communicated to his agent to find solutions for the summer. Instead, the club sees him as an integral part of the project that Hansi Flick is developing.
Yet, if a compelling offer comes their way for the young star in the summer, they will carefully evaluate it and make an informed decision.
