West Ham Demolish Wolves 4

West Ham United delivered a commanding performance, defeating Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 in a Premier League match at the London Stadium on Friday night.

The visitors nearly found the net early on when Andre’s shot went wide, and Yerson Mosquera also missed with a header after a long throw-in.

The home side had their first opportunity when Jarrod Bowen connected with Pablo Fornals’ pass, but his attempt was easily saved by Jose Sa.

In the 42nd minute, Konstantinos Mavropanos put West Ham ahead, heading in Bowen’s corner with a powerful strike.

The Hammers almost doubled their lead shortly after when Taty Castellanos and Pablo combined, but Sa made an excellent save.

Following the break, the visitors came close to scoring when Angel Gomes’ free kick hit the post, while Bowen also struck the woodwork at the other end.

Wolves had another chance to equalize when Ladislav Krejci connected with Hugo Bueno’s corner, but his header went wide.

West Ham extended their lead to 2-0 in the 66th minute, as Castellanos linked up with Pablo before finishing neatly past Sa.

Castellanos then netted his second goal of the match with a deflected shot that found its way into the net.

Mavropanos rounded off the scoring in the 83rd minute, heading in another corner from Bowen with authority.

With this victory, West Ham has moved out of the relegation zone, while Tottenham Hotspur now finds themselves in the bottom three ahead of their upcoming match against Sunderland on Sunday.
