Bayern Legend Oliver Kahn…

Oliver Kahn, the legendary goalkeeper of Bayern Munich, has thrown his support behind France international winger Michael Olise, suggesting he could win the coveted Ballon d’Or after an outstanding second season with Die Rekordmeister. The 24-year-old currently ranks as the most decisive player in Europe’s top five leagues, boasting an impressive tally of 18 goals and 25 assists, excluding penalties.

Bayern Munich remains on track for a treble, having nearly secured the Bundesliga title while advancing to the semi-finals of both the DFB-Pokal and UEFA Champions League, where they are set to face reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain. Additionally, Olise is poised to play a vital role in France’s World Cup campaign as Didier Deschamps prepares for his final tournament in charge of Les Bleus.

In an interview with Sky Sport, Kahn expressed confidence in Olise’s potential to follow in the footsteps of Ousmane Dembélé as the standout player of the season, should he maintain his current form. “Based on his recent performances, Michael Olise is undoubtedly on track to win the Ballon d’Or,” stated the former German international.
