Roma Makes Bid for Victor…

AS Roma is in the process of restructuring its attacking lineup, with a particular focus on acquiring Victor Muñoz.

Sporting director Frederic Massara, who is also pursuing Alajbegovic, sees the Osasuna right-back as the perfect addition to enhance the team’s technical abilities.

As reported by the Spanish news show El Chiringuito, Roma has already presented a substantial financial offer to Muñoz and his representatives.

The club is reportedly prepared to pay close to €40 million, which aligns with the player’s release clause. Muñoz, born in Barcelona and raised at La Masia, had an impressive season in Pamplona, scoring six goals and providing five assists, which earned him his debut with the Spanish national team, including appearances in friendlies against Egypt and Serbia.

However, despite Roma’s efforts, the transfer process is complicated. Muñoz has a history with Real Madrid, which holds a buy-back option on him.

Per the agreements made last summer, Osasuna must notify Los Blancos of any official offers they receive. This gives Florentino Pérez’s club 48 hours to decide whether to match the offer and potentially re-sign the player. Meanwhile, Muñoz, who prefers to remain in Spain, particularly at Barcelona, is considering his options.
