Liverpool Eyeing Summer…

Liverpool is set to target a midfielder in the upcoming summer transfer window, with potential recruits from Ligue 1, as reported by David Lynch. The reigning Premier League champions are eyeing Monaco‘s 22-year-old midfielder Lamine Camara, as well as 23-year-old Malian international Mamadou Sangaré from Lens.

Both Camara and Sangaré have shown impressive performances in their respective clubs this season. Camara, a former Brest player, has been instrumental in midfield for Les Monégasques, especially with Paul Pogba sidelined for most of the season due to injury. On the other hand, Sangaré has received accolades for being a standout player in the league as Les Sang et Or have unexpectedly become title contenders.

Adam Wharton remains Liverpool’s main target

While Liverpool is showing interest in these two Ligue 1 midfielders, Crystal Palace‘s Adam Wharton continues to be their primary target as they aim to strengthen Arne Slot’s midfield options. It remains uncertain if the club will pursue more than one midfielder in the transfer window.
