Barcelona Superstars…

The future of FC Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski remains uncertain as he approaches the final months of his contract with the club.

His agent, Pini Zahavi, arrived in Barcelona today and is anticipated to discuss Lewandowski’s situation with the club, as well as Hansi Flick’s contract renewal.

Zahavi’s Recent Trip to Italy

According to Fabrizio Romano, before arriving in Barcelona, Zahavi spent three days in Milan engaging in talks with several Italian clubs.

The superagent was accompanied by intermediary Davide Grassi during meetings throughout the city to assess potential opportunities for the veteran Barcelona forward.

AC Milan and Juventus are both reportedly interested in the Polish international, although financial constraints may pose a challenge for both Serie A clubs.

Nonetheless, this recent activity indicates a potential move to the Italian top-tier could be on the horizon.

Barcelona’s Position

Despite recording 13 goals in 27 La Liga matches this season, Lewandowski has recently seen his role under Hansi Flick shift to that of a rotational player, which he is not fully content with.

Barcelona, meanwhile, has reportedly made a one-year extension offer to the striker’s camp, but it comes with significant stipulations: a 50% salary reduction from his current earnings and a lesser role on the team.

The Blaugrana are already in the process of scouting potential successors for their attacking line, with names like Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez and Joao Pedro leading the shortlist for the summer transfer window in 2026.

While Lewandowski’s priority remains to stay in Catalonia, where he and his family feel at home, the prospect of a new challenge in Italy, where he might have a more visible role, could be enticing. A final decision is anticipated by the end of May.
