Colombian singer Shakira has unveiled a preview of her upcoming track ‘Dai Dai’, which serves as the official anthem for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The 49-year-old artist has teamed up with Nigerian superstar Burna Boy for this release, scheduled for May 14.

Shakira, a four-time Grammy winner, shared a one-minute snippet on social media featuring a performance alongside dancers at the iconic Maracaná stadium in Rio de Janeiro.

This marks her second official World Cup anthem, following her beloved hit ‘Waka Waka’ (This Time for Africa), which accompanied the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

In addition to these anthems, Shakira performed ‘Dare’ (La La La) at the closing ceremony of the 2014 World Cup and ‘Hips Don’t Lie’ during the 2006 World Cup.

She has two children with former Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué, who was part of the Spain team that won the World Cup.

The upcoming tournament will take place across Canada, the United States, and Mexico, kicking off on June 11 in Mexico City.
