FC Barcelona has the opportunity to claim the La Liga title this Sunday at Spotify Camp Nou when they go head-to-head with Real Madrid.
The Blaugrana need just a draw in this highly anticipated Clasico to secure their championship status, given their commanding 11-point lead over Los Blancos with only four matches remaining.

Aiming for Greatness
However, during a media event with DSports, Barcelona midfielder Gavi conveyed the team’s ambition to achieve even more.
“We are eager to win; we’re looking forward to El Clasico and capturing the title. Our goal is to win every remaining match and hopefully reach 100 points, which would mark an incredible season,” he stated.
The determination within Hansi Flick’s squad is unmistakable. Gavi noted the players’ awareness of La Liga’s historic standards and their motivation to exceed them.
“We always strive for more; we want that 100-point milestone, something achieved only once or twice before,” he referenced, citing Barcelona’s title win under Tito Vilanova in 2013 and Real Madrid’s under Jose Mourinho in 2012.

As the match approaches, Gavi highlighted that many La Masia graduates on the team foster a deeper connection to the rivalry.
“The days leading up to the Clasico are always intense; there’s a genuine eagerness for it to arrive. Several La Masia players have experienced numerous Clasicos in their youth careers,” he explained.
Having displayed great form since his return from injury, Gavi is likely to feature in the Clasico, potentially ahead of Frenkie de Jong.
