Millwall manager Alex Neil reflected on his team’s 0-0 draw against Hull City in the first leg of their Championship play-off semi-final:
“I’d like to hear the referee’s perspective on the disallowed goal, as I found it to be quite harsh.

“Overall, I believe this performance should instill confidence in us as we aim to secure a win on Monday.
“We played with the intention of winning rather than trying to avoid defeat.
“It’s important to note that many of our players are inexperienced in matches of this caliber, and their only significant chance came early on.
“I’m realistic; I know Hull is adept at absorbing pressure and counter-attacking when we return to our stadium.
“The atmosphere was great, which is what you expect in such a match.”
