Hull City manager Sergej Jakirovic shared his thoughts following the 0-0 draw against Millwall in the first leg of their Championship play-off semi-final:
“It was a challenging match, with both sides fighting hard for every ball and tackle.

“I believe we had the best opportunity in the game through Mo Belloumi, and after that moment, they posed significant threats from set-pieces and long throw-ins, but I think we managed to handle those situations well.
“The result is fair. As I mentioned earlier, nothing has been decided tonight.”
“We made some adjustments at half-time to press them more effectively as a unit.”
[Regarding the disallowed goal] “It was a clear foul. I noticed it right away. If you grab a player with both hands and spin them around, it’s definitely a foul.”
