Queens Park Rangers are eyeing EA Guingamp midfielder Kalidou Sidibé (27), whose contract with the Ligue 2 club is set to expire at the end of the season, according to a report from L’Équipe.
As a defensive midfielder, Sidibé is poised to become a free agent shortly, with no indications of a contract renewal from Guingamp. There are multiple interested clubs, with at least two already making offers, as noted by L’Équipe.
QPR is among the clubs looking to secure Sidibé’s services this summer, but they are not the only ones interested. The midfielder, who previously played for Toulouse FC, is also attracting attention from Chateauroux and QRM.
Additionally, Polish club Wisla Krakow has entered the fray with an offer, as well as Russian side Akhmat Grozny, which is keen on signing the midfielder. Sidibé has recently made his debut for the Mali national team, indicating his growing profile. Consequently, QPR will face stiff competition if they aim to acquire Sidibé.
