The upcoming summer promises significant changes for Real Madrid, beginning with a managerial shift as José Mourinho is set to take over from Álvaro Arbeloa.

Changes are expected within the squad as well, with several players likely to depart following two consecutive seasons without major trophies.

One player who might be on the move this summer is midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

Reports about the French midfielder have been mixed, with some sources suggesting that Real Madrid is open to offers, while others assert that the club has no intention of selling him.

Real Madrid Sets Price for Camavinga

According to journalist Yagiz Sabuncuoglu, Real Madrid has set an asking price of €80 million for Camavinga ahead of the summer transfer window.

This news follows the journalist’s earlier report indicating that Turkish club Galatasaray had expressed interest in the 23-year-old midfielder and made inquiries about him.

It’s been a challenging season for Camavinga, as he’s struggled with fitness and form, even falling behind teenager Thiago Pitarch in the latter stages of the season during Arbeloa’s tenure.

As a result, he was not called up by French national team manager Didier Deschamps for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

These factors have led to increased speculation regarding Camavinga’s future, especially with Real Madrid looking to secure a new midfielder this summer.

Nonetheless, as previously reported, Camavinga is eager to remain at the Santiago Bernabéu despite the swirling rumors of a potential transfer.

The French international acknowledges that the current season has been disappointing, but he is committed to fighting for his position and proving his worth at Real Madrid. However, if a club meets Real Madrid’s asking price of €80 million, a sale could become a possibility before the start of next season.
