The seasoned defender departed from FC Porto after joining as a free agent in January. Despite approaching his 42nd birthday in September, he isn’t ready to retire just yet.

Reports have emerged suggesting that he has been approached by his former club, AC Milan, about a possible return to San Siro, where he played from 2009 to 2012.
Alternatively, Silva could consider retirement and return to Chelsea in a coaching capacity. He recently posted an image of himself on social media from a training ground in Scotland, which hints at his future plans.

“Midway through my UEFA licence course in Scotland,” he posted. “Always learning, always evolving. Football never stops teaching you!” He expressed gratitude to the Scotland national team for their hospitality, indicating he may be preparing for his post-playing career.
