The Women’s Youth Sector season at AC Milan is nearing its conclusion after a season filled with remarkable successes. The highlight was the historic Primavera Scudetto, the second in the club’s history, triumphing once more against Sassuolo, replicating their 2024 victory. The Rossonere advanced to the final by defeating the reigning champions—two years ago it was Roma at Viola Park, while this season they took down Juventus. Overall, this marks the fifth national title achieved by AC Milan’s women’s sector in the past five years.
This consistent success has elevated the club’s prestige, particularly as it coincides with the development of numerous players who have progressed from the PUMA House of Football to the professional level, often donning the Rossoneri jersey. Notable among them are the players born in 2005, who are now integral members of Suzanne Bakker’s squad. Furthermore, the Women’s Under-17 team displayed great potential this season. Although they just missed the national championship finals, they possess all the talent necessary to make an impact next season, including at the Primavera level.
Moreover, the Rossonere youth teams’ season is far from over. The Women’s Under-15 team is still in action and will compete this weekend in the first leg of the national quarter-final against Juventus, echoing their previous Scudetto final clash, which AC Milan won 2-1 in Anagni, thanks to a stellar performance by Angelica Ferranti.
Beyond national competitions, the 2025/26 season has proven to be fruitful for our teams, thanks to the valuable experiences gained by the younger age groups in the grassroots sector. Teams like the Pulcine and Esordienti have participated in international tournaments, including events in Rimini and Turin, where they faced off against peers from Italy and other European nations. We look forward to a strong season finish as we shift our focus to 2026/27.
