FC Barcelona is keen on boosting their finances ahead of June 30, with several moves potentially creating significant financial leeway before the summer transfer window opens.

The club is nearing an €11 million deal from the sale of Ansu Fati, which will help them align with the 1:1 Financial Fair Play rule as they approach the summer.

This amount could soon increase with the anticipated sale of a former player, for whom they hold a future sell-on clause.

Sergi Dominguez could provide a financial boost for Barcelona

Reports from SPORT indicate that former Barcelona defender Sergi Dominguez may leave Dinamo Zagreb this summer, potentially leading to a lucrative outcome for the club.

The former La Masia talent has made a significant impact since his transfer to Dinamo Zagreb in 2025, which cost around €1.2 million.

Barcelona wisely included a 20 percent sell-on clause in his transfer agreement, which now appears poised to yield substantial returns.

Lazio and Tottenham in the hunt for Dominguez

The report suggests that Lazio is negotiating a deal for Dominguez, but Tottenham Hotspur has also entered the competition, possibly driving up the transfer fee.

Lazio initially proposed €5 million plus add-ons for the transfer, but Dinamo Zagreb rejected this approach, resulting in no agreement being made.

Tottenham has been actively pursuing the young center-back and has already contacted Dinamo Zagreb regarding a potential transfer.

Spurs may be willing to present an offer of around €9 million for the defender. Should this transfer go through, Barcelona stands to gain nearly €2 million from their sell-on clause.

Any funds generated from Dominguez’s transfer would represent an unexpected financial benefit, enhancing the club’s salary cap flexibility as they continue to adjust their roster for the upcoming season.
