Paraguay Unveils 26

The Paraguay national team has officially announced the final roster of 26 players chosen by head coach Gustavo Alfaro to participate in the 2026 World Cup, signifying La Albirroja’s much-anticipated return to football’s premier event.

The International Squad and Alfaro’s Final Decision

The 63-year-old coach assembled a squad showcasing a strong international presence, including only three players from the local league. The majority play abroad, with significant numbers based in Brazil (7) and Argentina (6), the latter featuring Matías Galarza, who is making his return to River Plate.
