Juventus director Giorgio Chiellini has expressed his belief that Dusan Vlahovic ‘won’t stay in Italy’ due to his salary expectations, thereby excluding Napoli and Milan from the competition.
The striker has become a free agent following his failure to reach a new agreement with Juventus, with his contract set to expire on June 30.

Negotiations had been ongoing for months, but even with a substantial pay cut from his previous salary of €12 million per season, the associated commissions and bonus demands became unmanageable.

“I am very saddened; he remained dedicated to Juve until the very end,” Chiellini stated to the news agency AGI during an event.
“He is a committed professional. Given these financial figures, it is unlikely he will stay in Italy, so it is entirely reasonable for him to seek a contract that reflects his worth.”

Chiellini’s remarks imply that rumors linking Vlahovic with a move to Serie A clubs Milan or Napoli are likely inaccurate.
He believes that no club in Italian football will meet Vlahovic’s salary requirements, making a foreign transfer a more plausible outcome for the Serbian international.
The former Fiorentina striker is reportedly attracting interest from clubs like Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Chelsea, Barcelona, as well as clubs in the Saudi Pro League.
