Bayern Eyeing Surprising…

Bayern Munich is considering an unexpected move for Liverpool’s young talent, Rio Ngumoha, as reported by The Athletic.

The Bundesliga champions are on the hunt for attacking reinforcements as the new season approaches, and they’ve identified Ngumoha as a potential addition.

While Bayern has yet to officially reach out to Liverpool, Ngumoha is reportedly aware of their interest in bringing him to the Allianz Arena.

However, Liverpool remains intent on retaining one of their most promising prospects, who recently competed with Cody Gakpo for a starting position on the left wing.

The club has no plans to entertain offers for Ngumoha, viewing him as a crucial part of their long-term strategy.

The England youth international signed his first professional contract last September, securing his future at Anfield until 2028.

Ngumoha’s impressive development over the past year has solidified Liverpool’s confidence in his potential.

During the 2025/26 season, he made 29 appearances across various competitions, contributing two goals and one assist while gaining valuable experience with the first team.

Currently, he is training with the senior England squad in Florida ahead of the upcoming World Cup, although he will not participate in the tournament.

His emergence was a key factor in Liverpool’s decision not to seek a direct replacement for Luis Diaz, who moved to Bayern last summer.

Liverpool is also focusing on enhancing their wing options, with Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig among those under consideration.

They are competing with Paris Saint-Germain for the Ivory Coast international, who is capable of playing on both wings.
