Plymouth Argyle striker Bim Pepple is confident about remaining with the club as the new season approaches.
The 23-year-old enjoyed a standout performance last season, netting 15 goals in his final 20 appearances, which helped the Pilgrims escape the relegation zone and inch closer to the play-offs.

He played a vital role in a dynamic attacking trio alongside Swiss forward Lorent Tolaj, who scored 21 goals, and Owen Oseni, who made his debut for Nigeria last month.
Despite speculation linking him with a move to a Championship team this summer, Pepple expressed his satisfaction at Home Park:
“I’m under contract with Plymouth and I’m enjoying my time here,” he told BBC Radio Essex. “Football can be unpredictable, and situations can change, but I’ve been in Plymouth throughout the off-season and plan to participate in pre-season. My focus is on being a Plymouth Argyle player.”

“There was always chatter during my time at Southend, yet I continued to play. The same happened when I was in Canada before Luton made their move. I’m accustomed to this; I see it as a compliment, indicating I’m performing well enough for people to take notice.”
The former Luton Town and Southend striker joined Argyle last summer as part of a group of new signings under head coach Tom Cleverley. Initially, Pepple struggled, scoring just twice before Christmas, but he found his scoring touch in the new year, contributing significantly to Argyle’s rise in the league.
His impressive form also earned him a first-ever call up for the Canada national team ahead of the World Cup, although he did not feature in the final squad.
“With so many new players and coaching staff, it was a gradual adjustment. But I believe the manager has a clear vision for our squad and playing style, and we’ve found a system that works well now,” he said.

“Having a year under the manager, we’re eager to see how we can build on our end-of-season form. If we had maintained that level throughout the entire season, we could have aimed for automatic promotion. It’s exciting to consider where this trajectory might take us, hopefully back to the Championship.”
