Mark Sykes, a long-serving midfielder for Bristol City, is set to depart the club alongside two other players following the arrival of new manager Michael Skubala.
The 28-year-old Republic of Ireland international Sykes, along with Sam Morsy and Harry Cornick, are all leaving as their contracts have expired.
Last month, when the club released their retained list, it was mentioned that the futures of these players would be determined following the appointment of a new head coach.
Sykes, during his tenure at the club, scored 18 goals in 153 matches. Morsy, an experienced 34-year-old Egypt international, made 20 appearances after signing a short-term contract in January. Cornick, 31, contributed five goals in 68 matches and spent the latter half of the previous season on loan to Stevenage.
James Ellis, the sporting director, expressed gratitude saying, “Everyone at Bristol City would like to thank Mark, Harry, and Sam for their dedication and efforts during their time with us.”

The club is yet to announce a decision regarding Sam Bell, who is also out of contract and is awaiting news about a potential new deal.
