Eduardo Camavinga (23) may be leaving Real Madrid this summer. The France international is reportedly not deemed essential by new head coach José Mourinho, according to a report from The Athletic.
Since joining Real Madrid from Stade Rennais for €31 million in 2021, Camavinga has faced challenges at the club. His performance has notably declined amid the team’s struggles.
As a result, Camavinga has fallen from regular inclusion in Didier Deschamps’ France squad (29 caps, two goals) to being completely omitted, missing the opportunity to be part of Deschamps’ final FIFA World Cup roster.
His future at the club appears uncertain. Real Madrid is open to offers for Camavinga, as reported by The Athletic. However, the midfielder is eager to stay at the Bernabeu. In this context, La Corriere dello Sport indicates that Serie A champions Inter Milan have inquired about Camavinga’s availability.
While Real Madrid is receptive to offers, the player himself is less inclined to move.
