According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter Milan is eager to acquire Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones and has submitted an initial offer of €20 million.

Jones has been a long-time target for Inter, with the Serie A club making attempts to sign him as recently as January.

Although Jones is contracted with Liverpool until June 2027 and is a product of their academy, he appears interested in a transfer to Milan, especially as his teammate Federico Chiesa recently hinted at this possibility.
As per Gazzetta, Inter’s opening offer of €20 million does not meet Liverpool’s asking price, which stands at €30 million for the 25-year-old midfielder this summer.

Inter understands that they may need to increase their bid to successfully acquire Jones but are reportedly eager to continue negotiations with Liverpool in the coming days, aiming to finalize the midfielder’s signing as Cristian Chivu’s first transfer of the summer.
