Maghnes Akliouche (24), a forward for Monaco, is currently representing France at the FIFA World Cup and has spoken about his future.
Having risen through the youth ranks at Monaco, the club is open to selling the talented playmaker this summer for the right offer. Several clubs are keen, including Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, and more recently, Liverpool.
With a transfer expected, Akliouche is acknowledging the speculation. Ahead of Les Bleus’ second World Cup match against Iraq, he was questioned about PSG’s interest and replied, “I understand why this question is being asked but for now, I am focused on the World Cup,” he stated.
The France international, who also had the option to represent Algeria, did not play in the background during Les Bleus’ 3-1 victory over Senegal. He aims to make a bigger impact in the upcoming matches before addressing his club prospects.
