Which coach do Scotland…

Tommy: I reckon Ange Postecoglou should be in the frame, but his recent run hasn’t been great. Whatever happens, there’s no quick fix here. The players really let us down.

Neil: Postecoglou feels like a great fit—he’d bring swagger and belief, and he can be pragmatic when it matters.

Colin: Postecoglou. Move the ball forward at speed and put opponents under pressure. It’s time to drop the safety-first mindset we’ve stuck with since the 90s.

Gordon: Postecoglou is a habitual winner, knows the Scottish game, enjoyed real success with Australia, and, crucially, gets his teams scoring.

Kev D: Scotland should appoint Postecoglou. His CV—World Cup and Scottish experience—ticks the boxes. His style puts us on the front foot, and he brings charisma and authority.

Mark:No rush, but I’d look at Postecoglou, Kasper Hjulmand, and Jurgen Klinsmann as an outsider. Whoever takes over has a good platform: we’ll be at the next Euros as co-hosts with a real chance to reach the knockouts for the first time.

Ewan: We need someone with experience in both Scottish and international football—could Roberto Martinez be an option if he leaves Portugal?

Gavin: With no standout Scottish candidates, I’d consider Thomas Frank. He seems knowledgeable and astute, with a tactical approach that fits our squad.

AnonaScot: Pep is free.
