Barcelona has informally inquired about the availability of Harry Kane, but the approach was swiftly rejected, as sources told ESPN that the England captain remains solely focused on the World Cup.
The 32-year-old’s main objective continues to be signing a new contract with Bayern Munich. Both Kane and the club are comfortable with the situation, even though there is only 12 months left on his current deal.
According to ESPN sources, Barcelona was exploring the possibility of a deal but received no positive response from Kane’s representatives.
Kane has put aside all thoughts related to his club future until after the World Cup, as he seeks to guide England to their first major international men’s trophy in six decades.
The possibility of Kane leaving Bayern would come as a significant surprise. His family is well-settled in Munich, and he has become a beloved figure, netting 61 goals and providing seven assists in 51 matches last season, contributing to their triumph in the Bundesliga, DFB Pokal, and German Super Cup.
After scoring in England’s 2-0 victory over Panama on Saturday, Kane has now reached a total of 70 goals for both club and country.

In September 2023, former Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy mentioned that Spurs have the option to re-sign Kane if he ever decides to return to the Premier League.
Kane is currently in Kansas City, as England prepares for their round-of-32 clash against DR Congo in Atlanta on Wednesday.
