Gillingham has secured the services of goalkeeper Ollie Wright on a season-long loan from Southampton, alongside fellow keeper Lennon MacLorg.
The 23-year-old Wright has been with Southampton’s youth academy since 2012 but has yet to debut for the first team.
He has previously had loan stints with National League clubs Yeovil Town and Solihull Moors, and most recently played for the Gills’ League Two rivals, Accrington Stanley, during the 2025-26 season, where he achieved 12 clean sheets in 47 appearances.
“I would describe myself as quite commanding, coming for crosses and alleviating pressure off the back line,” Wright shared on the club’s website.
Lennon MacLorg, 20, joins Gillingham after departing from Charlton Athletic.
“I’ve been a lifelong supporter of this team, and when I learned about the opportunity, I was ecstatic to make it happen,” he mentioned.
