In an interview with AS, former Portugal international Andrade reflected on his time under Mourinho at Porto, expressing optimism about the potential success of Mourinho’s current project at Real Madrid.

When asked about his relationship with Mourinho, Andrade remarked:

Delving deeper, Andrade feels that Mourinho is rejoining Madrid equipped with greater experience than he had during his first term.

When discussing Mourinho’s return, Andrade remarked:
“This is a fantastic opportunity. He’s now a more seasoned manager and will enjoy this role far more than he did during his initial time at Real Madrid.”
“He has a prime opportunity for significant changes within the team, especially after Real Madrid’s winless season last year.”
Andrade also highlighted Mourinho’s knack for bringing out the best in elite forwards.

“He’ll certainly be eager to have Mbappe replicate his feats with France: winning titles and achieving major goals like the Champions League, which is crucial for Real Madrid.”

“We need to regard them as role models. That’s why I’m filled with excitement about Mourinho’s return to Real Madrid and the prospect of him winning every match… except against Deportivo,” he concluded.
