Chelsea’s Julia Bartel is close to completing a summer move to Juventus.
The Spain youth international arrived at Chelsea from Barcelona in July 2024 on a three-year contract with an option for a further year, but the 22-year-old has struggled for minutes, making only two appearances in two seasons. She spent six months on loan at Liverpool in 2025 before joining Atletico Madrid for last season, where she played 43 times, scored six goals, and started 15 Liga F matches.
Bartel is expected to finalise the switch in the coming days as Juventus seek a replacement for Lia Walti, who moved to Brighton earlier this month. Juve finished third in Serie A last season and exited the Women’s Champions League in the knockout play-off round against Wolfsburg.
