The player’s father, Almami Moreira, a former Sunderland player, commented on the situation yesterday to Nieuwsbald: “There is interest; we will evaluate everything after the World Cup.”
However, these remarks may now be outdated, following the Red Devils’ exit from the World Cup at the hands of Spain.
