“The 18-year-old Ecuadorian will enhance the squad led by Juliano Belletti in the Segunda Federacion, with an option to purchase following the season.”
Promising Talent
At just 18 years old, Caicedo is recognized as a talented left-back with an offensive skill set.

Details of the Agreement
Under the terms of the agreement, Barcelona has secured a €2.5 million option to purchase Caicedo.
This option will become obligatory if the 18-year-old makes four official appearances for the first team during his loan period.
In addition, LDU Quito has negotiated a 20% sell-on clause, ensuring they will receive a portion of any future transfer fee should Barcelona choose to sell the player later on.
