Regarding Winks, his contract with Leicester City was set to expire at the end of the season, prompting him to seek new opportunities following their relegation.
This move marks a return to Italy for the 30-year-old, who previously experienced a loan spell from Tottenham Hotspur to Sampdoria during the 2022-23 season.
“I’m really happy to return to Italy and can’t wait to meet my new teammates,” Winks stated to the press.
