Lois Openda, who has struggled during his time at Juventus, has attracted interest from another club: Olympique Lyonnais is in competition with RC Lens and Coventry City seeking to secure the striker’s services.
The Belgium international was a disappointing acquisition last summer from RB Leipzig, currently on loan with an obligation for Juventus to make the deal permanent for a total fee of €46 million.

Openda has not aligned well with coach Luciano Spalletti’s strategy, playing sparingly in the final weeks of the season, managing only one short substitute appearance over the last 11 games.
Throughout his stint at Juventus, he made 34 appearances, scoring just two goals and starting in only nine matches.
His departure seems imminent, with Coventry City and RC Lens eager to facilitate his exit from Turin.
In a twist, Footmercato reports that Olympique Lyonnais has made an offer that includes covering his full salary, unlike RC Lens.
Juventus recognizes that a loan deal with an option to buy may be the most effective way to restore Openda’s reputation and market value.
