Last-minute tickets for the highly anticipated FIFA World Cup final, featuring Lionel Messi and Argentina against Lamine Yamal and Spain, are priced between $10,000 and $60,000.

FIFA’s official ticket resale platform offered its lowest-priced tickets Saturday morning at $6,411.25 for a mid-tier view behind the goal, but these quickly sold out by lunchtime.

Tickets situated in the corners of the upper deck were nearly $10,000, while those wanting closer seats would need to pay around $16,000, with premium hospitality options reaching as high as $60,000.

Other platforms like SeatGeek and StubHub also listed upper deck tickets starting around $10,000, with some lower bowl seats climbing to approximately $35,000.

For many fans, witnessing Messi — often regarded as the greatest player in history — pursue glory against Yamal, one of football’s most promising talents, may be worth the investment.

Argentina is aiming for its fourth World Cup title and second consecutive victory. No team has managed to win back-to-back championships since Brazil did so in 1958 and 1962, while Spain claimed the trophy in 2010.

Messi, with eight goals and four assists to his name, is competing in his third World Cup final after participating in 2014, 2022, and now 2026. He is currently tied with Kylian Mbappé for the Golden Boot at the 2026 World Cup, as Argentina seeks to become back-to-back champions.

Originally, Spain and Argentina were scheduled to face each other in the Finalissima prior to the World Cup, but the match, intended for March in Qatar, was canceled due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
